Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill

Good day to everybody, the weekend just passed and I'm feeling refreshed and ready to take on the week hope you are as well. Today I want to talk about making mountains out of mole hills. We have all done them at different parts of our lives. They are not hard to make at all either, matter of fact your body's mechanisms are kind of design to do them in rare instances for your survival.

The challenge is that they are unnecessary unless we were living back in the cavemen days. Were not! so they are really quite useless. You may really have an issue with always making things bigger than they are. Many of us do, maybe our health is out of wack a little, maybe you have a certain pain or you may have acquired a chronic disease, as time keeps moving so do our feeling and fears. We would probably start thinking that maybe this could be much more serious than expected or that it will only get worse as time goes on. Things could of went from being diagnosed with a diagnosis that can be treated successfully with patience and time, but our thoughts and mind can sometimes turn into a spiral downward.

You have to realise that nothing is never really as bad as it looks. Whenever there is a discovery that comes into your life that may somewhat seem negative at the moment of the realization you will always have two options, one you can accept it, and stay modest, humble and positive and handle the situation presented. Or two, you will look at it and slowly but surely will turn bigger than it is by the negative thoughts of how bad it could get and with time make it into a self fulfilling prophecy.

And this accounts to arguments, situations and challenges, really anything that may look not desirable. In the truth the reality is that nothing and I mean NOTHING is really that big as you may think it is. It really is not. All it is is your patterns of negativity that start to slowly take over and before you know the situation goes out of your control and moves straight into the arms of the what if? Questions.

Look at your life and your past challenges. Look back at the real bad ones, the ones you didn't know if you were to come out the same. Most probable than not you had a certain way you thought you and the situation were to come out, in other words you had the a bad terrifying outcome in your head. If you look back at it the outcome was nothing close to the terrible scene you had in your head. And you made it through, survived and you became stronger. But it never came out like you thought.

And surprisingly it never comes out like you think. Whether its a good situation or bad one. It NEVER comes out like you think. You just over think It and one thought feeds the next one and next one. Just look back at your life.. nothing has ever turned out as bad as you originally thought it would. And nothing is as bad as you think. I think it was Shakespeare that said that nothing is good or bad, its just your thinking that makes it that way. And of course I was paraphrasing but it was similar to that extent.

Bottom line there is nothing never as bad as you think. Anytime you have a thought about something and it looks negative and real terrible know that is NOT! Your just making a mountain out of a molehill.
